Year 5 and 6 Duxford visit

On Monday, the 17th of November, we went to Duxford Imperial War Museum.
We spent most of our time at Duxford in Hangar 1, Hangar 3, Hangar 7 and the conservation studio. In hangar 1, we viewed two aeroplanes, one called the Concorde in World War II. In hangar 3, we viewed, the Lancaster bomber plane, the Mosquito and the Spitfire. In hangar 7, we learnt about American warfare and how they helped the UK in World War II. in the conservation studio, they revived old aeroplanes from World War II and they also built models of them. We also visited the interactive centre and the park.
Our Favourite Things:
-The planes
-The bus ride
-The play park
-The interactive centre
-The ‘movie screens’ (explanation videos)
