Last Thursday (21st March) 24 pupils from year 5/6 descended on Great Shelford to take part in their annual schools tag rugby tournament.

On Friday 15th March, 10 year six pupils travelled to Newmarket to take part in the famous YDP football tournament.

This Tuesday (12th), a small team of 3 children from Swavesey Primary were invited to compete at the inaugural micro:bit coding competition at the Museum of Computer History in Cambridge. They competed alongside over 10 other schools from across the county.

On Tuesday 27th of February, Swavesey Primary School was fortunate enough to receive a visit from the well-known author James Campbell. A day full of funny tales and important life-lessons, James demonstrated the power of writing with humour and creativity. His visit left us captivated and eager to devour his books and we hope this will inspire us to write creative stories of our own.
