On Thursday 21st May, World Scooter Champion, Terry Price, visited Swavesey once again for another Year 3 / 4 workshop. 

Throughout the day, Badgers, kingfishers and Swans class were challenged to try out lots of different tricks over ramps and under beams on stunt scooters.

The children grew more resilient and confident throughout their sessions, enjoying seeing some of Terry's skills along the way! Once again, the 'Mario Kart' game was great fun. 

During the day, Terry selected four children from each class to take part in the whole school 'showcase' assembly. The children had an additional practise, before showing off their skills to their peers and teachers, who showed their appreciation with lots of clapping and cheering!

 Terry finished the day with a showcase of his tricks, including jumping over four teachers from a ramp. His special finale, which led to him being 'World Champion', was a special '360 degree' flip from a ramp, which he did this year, over the top of a very nervous Mr O'Neill !

What a wonderful day it was. We hope to welcome Terry back again next year too!
