A great afternoon of 'New Age Kurling' was had by all...

A fun afternoon of games was enjoyed by the two Swavesey teams.
On Monday 2nd February, two teams of boys travelled to Bassingbourne VC, to take part in a SCSSP 'New Age Kurling' Festival.
Both teams were very excited and during the afternoon, they took part in teams of 4, enjoying a range of new Kurling activities; skittles, moving stones, gates, and Team Kurling.
This is what the boys had to say about their experience:
Oscar: Personally, I found it a great experience because there were 4 different games to play, and I got to engage in teamwork.
William: We worked well as a team, and we were great at all the games!
Joseph: We supported each other, which meant we were a great team. The skittle game was my favourite as it was fun!
Noah: I learnt that Kurling is a sport I am very good at and enjoy doing. I liked bowling at the skittles the best!
Tom: I learnt that I'm really good at kurling and I haven't played it many times before!
Mckenzie: I was really good at aiming in the skittles game!
Bentley: I got better and better at the kurling as I did it.
Buzzy: I found knocking the skittles down was hard, but I kept trying.
Thank you to Miss Ellson, Mrs Gladwell and Mrs Kent for accompanying the children.
