    Please read the attached letter from the Cambridgeshire County Council about the Government’s funding for local Authorities for the Covid Winter Grant scheme. This letter, and the accompanying FAQs, highlight vital information for families in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM) as well as those who may be experiencing financial and other difficulties.  The Scheme which will be overseen by the LA will provide FSM families with food vouchers directly and may be able to provide additional support for those who apply to the Grant scheme.  To ensure that the Local Authority can access the correct details for you from our systems please check your MCaS and ensure we have the correct contact details for you.

    Year 3 and 4 Production—From Cavemen To Celts.

    We would like to congratulate all pupils in Year 3 and 4 for their amazing performance last week. They were incredible at learning their lines, dancing and singing and sharing their knowledge about prehistoric times. Well done!

  • Netball teams impress

    Tuesday saw the start of the High 5s Netball Competition for 2019/20. Swavesey ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams took part in Round 1 at SVC. Swavesey ‘A’ played 4 matches and WON them ALL! Swavesey ‘B’ played 3 matches and WON them ALL too! For such an early round in the competition, both teams played outstandingly well. The next round is in March, so lots to work on before then but a great start! Thank you Parents / Carers for your great support on the night :)

  • Swavesey so nearly - in Ely

    Swavesey Primary school stormed through to the final of the ESFA county cup on Friday. A defending and attacking masterclass from the team - held together by a captain in the middle of the park - saw them only narrowly miss out on bringing the trophy back to Swavesey and marching on to Wembley - an unlucky 1-0 defeat in the final being their only setback. Over the tournament they found the back of the net eight times, only conceding three in the process.
