A Visit with James Campbell
On Tuesday 27th of February, Swavesey Primary School was fortunate enough to receive a visit from the well-known author James Campbell. A day full of funny tales and important life-lessons, James demonstrated the power of writing with humour and creativity. His visit left us captivated and eager to devour his books and we hope this will inspire us to write creative stories of our own.
Thank you to those who attended James' book signing at the end of the day. We hope you enjoy your new books!
Our favourite aspects of the visit were as follows:
"The voices James made were very funny and we laughed a lot!" Imogen
" We laughed so much when he spoke to us and he made me believe that I could write a really good story too." Sophie
"It was awesome and he made me want to read all of his books!" Ines
"It was really funny and he inspired me to add more humour to my own writing." Poppy
