Winter Grant Scheme
Please read the attached letter from the Cambridgeshire County Council about the Government’s funding for local Authorities for the Covid Winter Grant scheme. This letter, and the accompanying FAQs, highlight vital information for families in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM) as well as those who may be experiencing financial and other difficulties. The Scheme which will be overseen by the LA will provide FSM families with food vouchers directly and may be able to provide additional support for those who apply to the Grant scheme. To ensure that the Local Authority can access the correct details for you from our systems please check your MCaS and ensure we have the correct contact details for you.

The local authority is the organising body for this scheme and they have provided contact information should you have queries. However, we appreciate that families may have questions and concerns they feel unable to ask directly, if so please do contact us and we will endeavour to support you through answering questions and supporting applications where needed.
